Njabulo Msibi was born on 2 August 1991, and grew up in the township of Kwamashu in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. While Njabulo was still at school, he began attending weekend classes at the Bat Centre, which forged his natural artistic skill. In addition to his classes at the Bat Centre, Njabulo took art at school, and worked with sculptures and paintings inspired by African art. Njabulo was introduced to Ardmore by his friend, Allen, fellow ceramic painter. Since joining the Ardmore team in 2022, Njabulo appreciates working in an environment where he learns and experiences new things every day, and where his talents are encourages and continue to grow. Njabulo works in a realist style, and has taken a liking to Ardmore’s specific design style and unique patterns. He is inspired by fellow Ardmore artists, Nthulisi, Siya, Micky, Nondumiso, and Sthabiso.
