Our Journey
Our History
The story of Ardmore begins almost forty years ago when in 1985 Fée Halsted started on a journey teaching ceramics to a talented group of rural people on a farm in a remote corner of the Kwazulu-Natal province, South Africa.
Community Fund
We are delighted to share with you that we have launched the Ardmore Community Fund which will use the creative arts to spark, support and fund development in our region.
Our Artists
Our ceramics are made by local artists - extraordinary people from the Midlands of KwaZulu-Natal, who are given training, materials, a studio and a guaranteed market for their work, under the guidance of our founder, Fée Halsted.
